Assouline x Book of HOV Sweepstakes

Official Rules

  1. Sponsor: Assouline Publishing, Inc.
  2. Prize Entry Methods: To enter for a chance to win the Prize, either:
    1. Method 1: Sign up for Assouline marketing emails via this link; or
    2. Method 2: Send an email to legal@assouline.com stating that you wish to be entered into the contest, with your name, citizenship, and date of birth. Note that if you enter via this method, your personal information will not be used for any purpose other than administering the sweepstakes (you will not be added to any marketing list).
    3. Both Methods 1 and 2 have the same chances of winning from the same prize pool. Odds of winning will depend on the number of entries.
  3. No Purchase or Payment Required: No payment or purchase is required to enter or win, and no purchase of any product will increase your chances of winning.
  4. Eligibility: Contest is open to U.S. citizens or permanent residents, over 18. Employees of Assouline Publishing, Inc. and its affiliates are not eligible for entry into the Sweepstakes. Only one entry per human person.
  5. Duration: Contest is open from June 27 10:00AM EDT to July 5, 11:59PM EDT.
  6. Winner Selection: Contest winner will be randomly selected on [date] from all eligible entries received by AppHub, LLC d/b/a Clearer (known as ViralSweep).
  7. Data Collection: The personal data information collected in this sweepstakes will be subject to the same data privacy protection protocols (the "Data Protection Protocols") outlined here: https://usprivacy.assouline.com/privacy-policy. By entering this Sweepstakes, you are consenting to the treatment of your personal data according to the Data Protection Protocols and to those of AppHub, LLC d/b/a Clearer, available here: https://www.clearer.io/privacy-policy.
  8. Redemption: If you are selected as the winner, you will be contacted via the email address submitted in Methods 1 or 2 and will have 24 hours from the time the Prize Announcement Email is sent to accept the Prize. In order to accept the Prize, Winner will be required to provide Sponsor with a government-issued photo ID (like a driver's license or passport) to confirm Winner's legal name, date of birth, and US citizenship/residency. If you do not or cannot accept the Prize within that window, another winner will be randomly selected following the same process as the first winner. This process will repeat until either (a) a winner accepts in the appropriate time delay or (b) the day of July 9, 2026 arrives. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any portion of the Prize that is not used is forfeited. The Winner will be required to provide a valid credit card at The Fifth Avenue Hotel for any incidental charges.
  9. Taxes: All federal, state, and local taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of the winner. If you are selected as a winner and collect the Prize, a 1099 form will be issued to you for the total fair market value of the Prize received.
  10. Exclusions from Redemption: You will be excluded from collecting the prize if you do not (a) sign a waiver releasing Assouline from any liability related to the use or enjoyment of the Prize; or (b) you do not comply with the applicable rules and agree to the terms and conditions required by the owners or providers of the Prize elements, e.g. The Fifth Avenue Hotel, Ticketmaster, and Yankee Stadium.
  11. Violations: Any violation of the Fifth Avenue Hotel's policies, Yankee Stadium's policies, or Ticketmaster's policies, any lack or payment for hotel incidentals, or any reasonable suspicion of engagement in any illegal behavior, in Sponsor's sole discretion, may result in forfeiture of your Prize. Any public statements disparaging, inaccurate or reflecting negatively on Sponsor or its brand or affiliates may also result in cancellation of your Prize. Any false information provided for the Sweepstakes by any participant or non-compliance with these Rules may result in your elimination from the Sweepstakes.
  12. Liability: Entrants will release Sponsor, Meta Platforms, Inc., AppHub, LLC d/b/a Clearer, The Fifth Avenue Hotel, and Ticketmaster, from any liability, claims, or damages arising from the sweepstakes or prize acceptance.
  13. Jurisdiction: The Sweepstakes shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York applicable to promotions fully carried out within New York. The winner agrees that the invalidity or enforceability of any part of any document shall in no way affect the validity or enforceability of any of the remainder of that document.
  14. The Prize: Total market value (as of June 10, 2026): $2,684. The Prize does not include transportation or any food, beverage, or other concessions or personal charges (e.g. mini-bar, movies, telephone calls, gratuities, incidentals).
