In the Details

Craftsmanship

As with every book published, each object reflects the highest level of craftsmanship: individually handmade by a skilled artisan, where every detail is shaped with intention, care, and enduring precision.

Inspiration

The Library Collection brings together a selection of elegantly designed objects inspired by the Assouline family’s most cherished essentials.

The Pebble

The pebble form used throughout the collection takes its inspiration from the name Assouline, which is rooted in Moroccan traditions and linked to words meaning "rock" or "pebble." This organic shape, soft yet grounded, reflects a quiet strength: a nod to origins that speak of resilience, beauty, and time-worn simplicity.
