Frédéric Beigbeder is a French writer, editor, and columnist, and one of the most prominent voices in contemporary French literature. Among his many books are Love Lasts Three Years (Grasset, 1997), Windows on the World (Grasset, 2003), and A French Novel (Grasset, 2009). For Assouline, he has written books devoted to the art of living, including Barbie (1998), Manhattan’s Babe (2014), and Biarritz Basque (2024), as well as the preface to Paris by Paris (2025). In addition, he hosts the literary program Conversations chez Lapérouse, an intimate forum for dialogue between writers and artists. An epicurean and an attentive observer, he embodies a refined and personal knowledge of Paris.
