The Brightest Room in London

To celebrate the launch of A Diamond is Forever in collaboration with De Beers, CEO Al Cook hosted an intimate series of events at London's Maison Assouline.

Over two immersive days, a collaboration between De Beers and Assouline brought A Diamond is Forever to life, inviting friends of the brand into an exhibition, celebration, and conversation unlike any other. Guests were asked not simply to admire diamonds, but to understand them.

On the evening of March 18, the drinks reception treated food as it treated diamonds: as a collection, not a menu. Sculptural bites were arranged across metallic trays, earthy tones punctuated by moments of brilliance, each composed for texture and contrast. Among those in attendance were actor Archie Madekwe, Nathalie Emmanuel, jewelers Emefa Cole, Shola Branson, and Ananya Malhotra, alongside editors Lydia Slater, Caroline Roux, and Melanie Grant.

On the morning of March 19, guests were drawn into a deeper conversation through a masterclass led by De Beers' diamond experts alongside Stephen Dunbar-Johnson, Kimberley Drew, and Sarah Ysabel Narici. With intimacy and precision, they unpacked the exhibition's central themes: the power of enduring symbols, and the quiet legacy carried within a single stone.
