In this intimate glimpse into her literary life, she shares the treasured volumes that continue to shape her perspective—from the book she consistently gives to friends to the definitive work that formed the foundation of her interior design philosophy.

The book that changed how I see the world is: The Stranger by Albert Camus

The book I gift all my friends is: Intermezzo by Sally Rooney

The book that reminds me of my childhood is: James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl

The book I never finished (but wanted to) is: My Personal MBA by Josh Kaufman

The book that inspired by career is: Style and Design by David Hicks

"I grew up looking at catalogs and magazines that my grandmother brought home from the factory where she worked. They weren't necessarily about interior design, but they did expose me to different environments and scenery. So, when I discovered a book specifically about interior design - Style and Design, and it was done so masterfully, I couldn't get enough. David Hicks is a maestro at creating captivating mixes of colors, patterns, elegance, and coolness."

If I were an Assouline book, I would be: YSL at Home by Jacques Grange

"Opening this book and turning the pages showed me a world I didn’t know existed. Every page! The richness and soulfulness of the colors, showing how important it is to be yourself and be surrounded by what you love. That’s what home should be. Your own personal exhale and an expansion of your mind."
