Derek Blasberg Hosts Cocktails to Fête our New Tome with Raffles

Assouline and Raffles Hotels & Resorts hosted an intimate affair to celebrate the launch of Raffles: From Your Butler, a book that encapsulates the legendary service and timeless elegance of the storied hotel brand. Held at Casa Cruz, the event drew a discerning crowd of Assouline VIPs, press, and tastemakers, such as Blasberg, Martine, Prosper and Alex Assouline and Beverly Nguyen of That Girl Beverly -  all eager to toast to the art of hospitality.

The evening unfolded in a setting adorned with lush floral arrangements by Flowerbx and an artful installation by Arsenal. Guests were greeted with an expertly curated selection of canapés—delicate tuna tartare in sesame cones, truffle grilled cheese, and indulgent mini tiramisu tartes—paired with an elegant beverage service, including the evening’s signature cocktail, the Singapore Sling.

Against the glow of candlelight and the polished brass interiors of Casa Cruz, guests celebrated both the book’s craftsmanship and the enduring allure of Raffles: From Your Butler, each slipcased edition a nod to the brand’s refined heritage. As the evening concluded, attendees departed with thoughtfully assembled gift bags, a final touch of hospitality befitting the occasion.
