About The Author
Richard Schulman has earned commissions to photograph leading artists, collectors, and patrons of the arts, as well as architectural masterpieces. Schulman's work has appeared in numerous books and magazine, including The New York Times, the London Times, Vanity Fair, Time, Paris-Match, Metropolis, and Der Spiegel. He currently leactures on the history of photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Paul Goldberger is architecture critic of The New Yorker and Dean of Parsons School of Design. He won a Pulitzer Prize for his architecture criticism for The New York Times, and he is the author of numerous books, including the recently published Up From Zero: Politics, Architecture, and the Rebuilding of New York (Random House).
