Born in Brussels in 1936, Pierre Sterckx is a writer, critic and scholar from Belgium. As an art critic, he befriended the famous artist Herge, author of Tintin, and wrote many books about this most famous graphic novel character. Since 2008, he has been a columnist for cultural French TV show and has collaborated with Beaux-Arts Magazine since 1997.
