Always seeking out the world’s most extraordinary gems and constantly pushing the boundaries of design virtuosity, the maison’s visionary creators brilliantly combine expertise with modernity. By opening boutiques in all the resort destinations favored by an affluent and sophisticated clientele, Van Cleef & Arpels reconfigured the map of a privileged society that embraced luxury, travel, and art. Magnificently illustrated, including several never-before-seen images, this new Mémoire volume recounts the prestigious brand’s story as it continues to create new designs while remaining faithful to its original spirit of elegance and sophistication. From the invention of the Mystery Setting to the creation of the Minaudière, from the Zip necklace to the Cadenas timepiece, the journey is dazzling.
