Maisonrouge founded KM & Co., which specializes in luxury innovation by assisting luxury firms and start-ups in branding, financing, and long-term strategies. She is also the cofounder and a board member of a few start-ups, including Savelli; a board member of J. Mendel; and a Senior Advisor to The Gores Group. She is an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School and has served as the U.S. Representative of the Comité Colbert, an association that brings together the 75 most well-known French luxury brands. She has been the president of the Luxury Education Foundation since 2004. She was awarded the titles of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite in 2001 and Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by the French government in 2009. On August 2013, she received the International Award at the 18th literary festival, la Forêt des Livres in the Loire Valley, France.
