Maison Assouline, London - Wednesday, February 10, 2016

Parisian diamond jewellery House Messika launched their highly-anticipated book with publisher Assouline by hosting a star-studded event at Maison Assouline in Piccadilly.

Guests included Alice Dellal, Hikari Yokoyama, Sai Bennett, Sophie Kennedy Clark, Lady Mary Charteris, Jo Wood, Cora Corré, Portia Freeman, Max Cocking and Alice Naylor-Leyland, alongside Messika Founder and Creative Director Valerie Messika and Messika author Vivienne Becker, who is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading jewellery writers.

During the drinks reception at Maison Assouline, guests were greeted by French waiters in tuxedos who served Messika-themed cocktails and canapés, such as ‘The Move’ – champagne mixed with crushed strawberry, Moroccan rose, lychee and lemon. Jewellery from the House’s most iconic collections, including Move and Amazone, was on display in glass vitrines around the Assouline boutique, while guests such as Lady Mary Charteris and Cora Corré arrived wearing their own favourite Messika pieces.
