This Special Limited Edition of 300 is bound in an 100 percent linen and presented in a linen slipcase. American Fashion celebrates over 100 American designers and seventy years of fashion. The book follows this evolution from the little known talents of the postwar years transitioning to the ensuing 1950s when an ever expanding cast of designers were transformed into national and later international stars. This creative crescendo continues to the growth of major names in American fashion during 1960s and 1970s, and goes on to explore the achievements of American design's brand name marquee stars of the 1980s and 1990s.
